沈富雄徵翻譯 優勝可得5000元

宣布參選台北市長的前立委沈富雄表示，有人質疑他的年齡大，但他認為年齡不是問題。他看到美國一位投手說了一句很美的話，希望廣徵中文翻譯，參加活動的人，他將邀請一起吃早餐，優勝者則有獎金5千元。

沈富雄表示，宣布參選台北市長的人，他的年紀最大，但他並不在意，也認為不會變成一個議題。

沈富雄說，他日前看到一個故事，有一個美國黑人棒球投手，直到59 歲還在投球，別人問他為什麼這麼老了還在投球？該投手回答「Age is a question of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.」

沈富雄指出，他覺得這句話很美，mind和matter這兩個字各出現兩次，但前後意思並不同，他嘗試翻譯，但覺得好難。他已有自己的翻譯版本，但不能說出來，否則有違比賽規矩。
