防禽流感 寵物鳥也要消毒

屏東縣政府表示，一波波寒流，鳥類容易遭受緊迫而引發疫情，為防範禽流感，呼籲縣內各寵物鳥繁殖及販賣業者落實飼育區消毒。

縣政府表示，飼主可到家畜疾病防治所登記請領消毒劑，另請業者每天加強自主觀察寵物鳥健康狀況，如果出現異常死亡，請立即通報所在地動物防疫機關協助檢診確認及輔導。

農業處長姚志旺表示，歐美亞等洲陸續爆發禽流感，如果有前往疫區國家，一定要做好自主管理的工作，以保障寵物鳥及防疫安全；水禽為禽流感保毒者，切勿將水禽與雞豬混養，以免病毒產生變異，造成更大的疫情。
