這是一張極其脆弱、自溺、卻又充滿攻擊性的專輯，就如同專輯名稱《Ultraviolence》，這個單詞是一個極端暴力的意思。Lana Del Rey再度用她靈騷、魅惑、性感、迷幻的嗓音與身影，毫不猶豫的，將她的內在與世代的黑暗，一絲不掛的嶄露在她的音樂與歌詞裡頭，赤裸地暴力地，成就了這張專輯近乎病態的黑色美感。是的，這是一種暴力美學。
