立法院9月中開議，多項法案待處理。伴侶盟去年委託民進黨立委提出「婚姻平權」民法修正草案，希望爭取同性婚姻合法化等相關權利，但至今仍未排進委員會。「婚姻平權革命陣線」預告，10月5日將發起「彩虹圍城」行動，號召民眾到立法院旁集會，督促立法院盡速通過婚姻平權法案。

「婚姻平權革命陣線」表示，平等不能再等，「我們現在就必須站出來」。如果立委罔顧人權與民意，堅決不審案、不通過法案，「我們必將每年上街，直到婚姻平權落實在這塊土地上」。
