勞動部長潘世偉捲入桃色風暴，政院晚間已宣布請辭獲准。就在潘確定走人沒多久，事件女主角王孟純的父親王永忠也發出聲明，希望外界不要捕風捉影、毀人名節，不要為難願意為國家認真做事的人，他和妻子都很替潘抱不平。只是，遲來的聲明已無濟於事，潘政務官生涯已宣告結束。
