歐盟食安新規 加工食品肉類需標原產地

歐洲議會食品安全委員會決議，要求含肉類的加工食品必須加註肉類的原產地，方便消費者辨識。這項決議預計下個月送大會表決。

2013年1月時，英國超市傳出進口牛肉混有被禁止做為食物的馬肉，此後半個多月期間，歐洲爆發多起馬肉混充牛肉事件，引發食安危機。

為了重建消費者信心，歐洲議會環境、公共健康與食品安全委員會（Environment, Public Health andFood Safety Committee）昨天以48票同意、15票反對、4票棄權通過決議，要求歐洲聯盟執行委員會依循2013年報告，增進食品消費透明度，制訂加工食品中肉類使用規章，要求食品加工業者在包裝上加註肉類原產地。

委員會表示，歐盟執委會的報告曾經指出，超過90%的消費者認為加工食品加註肉類原產地十分重要，因為這會影響他們的消費行為。

這項決議案將送交歐盟執委會進行口頭意見交換，並在2月歐洲議會大會提出並表決。
