頭一遭看見陶具品牌 Cupclay的食器，完全沒能轉移視線：純白無瑕的白瓷上，突然浮起一抹輕輕淡淡的藍，似是湖水，也像青空；看仔細一點，裏頭藏着更奇異景致，柔中帶剛──裂痕千頭萬緒地，張開一幅蜘蛛網；原來陶瓷中混入了玻璃，一塊塊給撕成碎片！

 

要將陶瓷跟玻璃結合，背後是一番工夫：陶泥造型後，先進行塑燒(第一次燒烘)，待它變硬後，在上面加些淺藍色玻璃碎片，然後再放入爐燒烘；這時玻璃抵不住過千度高溫，自會溶成液體，但出爐後開始冷卻，又會因冷縮熱脹而產生爆裂，造成底層不規則而有機的裂紋，為陶器增添燦爛詩意。
