現存最高齡的影后 Luise Rainer (1910~2014) 在倫敦去世 原籍奧地利的 Luise Rainer 崛起路線和先前的 Greta Garbo 以及後進的 Ingrid Bergman 一樣，1935 年被米高梅公司發掘前往好萊塢，剛剛在 1936, 1937 以《齊格飛女郎》、《大地》連莊拿下兩次奧斯卡最佳女主角，但是在 《大地》裡飾演賽珍珠的 Luise Rainer 卻願意在 1938 的《翠堤春曉》飾演 戲分較少的第二女主角。 Luise Rainer 提過在二次大戰前奧斯卡金像獎知名度僅限於美國境內，並不 像現在會同步傳送到幾十個國家，這樣的情況下，即使拿下影后頭銜到了紐 約知名度就要打七折了，到了倫敦打三折，到東歐和亞洲就成了路人甲了。 Luise Rainer 在 1940 年代曾經和共產黨作家 Clifford Odets (1906~1963) 有過一段短暫婚姻，戰後麥卡錫主義在好萊塢盛行，這段經歷使得兩度影后 Luise Rainer 成為八大公司的黑名單，原籍奧地利的 Rainer 也不甘示弱回 嗆並避居歐洲，她的大名也漸漸被美國影迷所淡忘。 2000 年以後美國黃金時期明星凋零加上網路時代興起, 被遺忘的 Luise Rainer 才又被美國人想起來, 在近幾年授給她相當多的榮譽 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 120.34.141.165 ※ 文章網址: http://www.ptt.cc/bbs/movie/M.1419943951.A.6EF.html
