請問有關在首爾刷卡的問題

今天剛收到卡+開卡完成...

之前爬文得知機場租手機只能用凸字的信用卡
想知道直到現在(2014/12月)也是這樣嗎?平面的完全不行?
(我是一張磁條是萬事達&一張晶片VISA...
都是富邦的..平面卡...OTZ)
那如果平面卡不行可以押美金嗎?要壓多少呢?
(已經在網路上預約租借了說...T^T)

還有爬文知道首爾刷卡也很普及的樣子
那麼購物時刷平面卡也可以嗎?還是凸字的比較通用?
是不是跟刷卡機的新舊有關係呢?(例如老的店家只能刷凸面的??)

因為好像比較少看到人家討論平面卡的相關
