請問老包從Christchurch 到 Tekapo的開車路線?

我們預計的行程是早上從Christchurch 出發到Tekapo (在Tekapo住宿一晚)
原本規劃的路線是從Christchurch走 1號公路
經過 Ashburton到 Timaru
再轉接 8號公路經 Failie 到Tekapo

但剛剛翻閱 "開始在紐西蘭自助旅行" 一書
恰好有建議此路線
差別是 不經過Timaru
而是轉接 79號公路 經過 Geraldine 到Tekapo
想請問老包兩者的差別?
