台中市不動產開發商業同業公會關懷高雄氣爆，理事長魏嘉銘和會員們今天到市府捐款，魏嘉銘說，建商們賑災不分彼此，短短3天就募集1500萬元，捐款持續增加中，呼籲各界伸出援手。

魏嘉銘說，8月4日召開第13次理監事聯席會，每位理監事、候補理監事各捐50萬元，其他建築同業也慷慨解囊。台中市長胡志強代表收下支票，將會把這筆錢捐到高雄指定帳戶，他也肯定不動產業界的愛心。
