無黨籍彰化縣長參選人黃文玲質疑，在頂新黑心油事件爆發後，藍綠縣長參選人林滄敏、魏明谷都未對該事件提出批判，認為2人與魏家關係良好，有收取魏家政治獻金疑慮。

國民黨參選人林滄敏發表聲明，否認收取魏家政治獻金，並表示他未獲邀參與成美堂落成，只是剛好到當地順道前往致意，魏明谷競選總部也表示，「從政以來未收過魏家政治獻金」，他和民眾一樣對黑心廠商感到憤怒，全力支持抵制頂新集團商品，並嚴懲相關負責人。
