希拉蕊訪愛阿華 前進白宮有譜

美國前國務卿希拉蕊‧柯林頓（Hillary Clinton）14日參加愛阿華州一年一度「 煎牛排」（Steak Fry）活動，引發她距離宣布角逐2016年白宮大位更進一步的揣測。

這項活動聚集民主黨人士，經常吸引有志競選總統寶座的人士。

在和老公前總統柯林頓（Bill Clinton）烤完牛排後，希拉蕊在一大片綠色草地上對超過6000名民主黨員發表民粹式演說。她捍衛歐巴馬總統的招牌健保措施歐巴馬健保（Obamacare），推動最低薪資的立法，並痛斥共和黨是「立法僵局的守護者」。

希拉蕊演說重點多半在拉抬愛阿華州民主黨候選人聲勢，但在迴避有關她對2016年大選的意圖時，她展現害羞的神情。

她說：「有太多人只對競選總統感到興奮。你看，我對競選總統感到興奮。」

她又表示：「我們來這裡只是為了支持民主黨人。」

愛阿華州是總統大選黨內候選人之爭提前投票的州，希拉蕊2008年在愛州黨團會議慘敗給歐巴馬與愛德華茲（John Edwards），落居第3。
