經部5步驟 助石化業突破瓶頸

為助石化業突破發展瓶頸，經濟部以鼓勵廠商在台設研發中心、籌組關鍵材料研發聯盟、協助完成試量產、籌組產品應用研發聯盟、完成設廠量產等方式，希望推動安全高值新石化。

近期石化業面臨全球產能過剩，加上美國頁岩氣、中國煤化工等低廉原料興起巨大競爭壓力，由於石化產業為我國經濟發展重要產業，工業局近年來利用各種政府資源，協助廠商突破發展瓶頸，朝高值化發展。

工業局表示，近年來以鼓勵廠商在台設立研發中心、籌組關鍵材料研發聯盟、協助完成試量產、籌組產品應用研發聯盟、完成設廠量產等5步驟為推動重點，協助業者從研發到商業量產，突破各階段發展問題，提升業者投入意願，加速量產商品化速度。

根據工業局資料顯示，石化年產值約新台幣2.02兆元，約占我國產業總產值15%，廠商計1041家，從業人員達5萬133人。
