時代雜誌2014年度風雲人物，頒給「抗伊波拉病毒勇士們」（TheEbola Fighters），表彰全球各地醫護人員在對抗伊波拉所做的貢獻。雜誌封面則以曾染伊波拉、現已痊癒的美國醫師布蘭特利為主視覺。

美國時代雜誌（TIME）今晚公布「年度人物」（Person of the Year）評選結果，由伊波拉鬥士獲得。

「時代」雜誌指出，伊波拉醫護人員仍在與歷史上最嚴重的病毒之一作抗爭，這種病毒已經造成西非超過7000人身亡。

2014年美國時代雜誌年度人物的候選人共有8組。除獲獎者外，其他候選人還有佛格森事件示威者、俄羅斯總統普亭、美國歌手泰勒·斯威夫特、阿里巴巴創始人和CEO馬雲、蘋果CEO庫克、伊拉克庫爾德領導人馬蘇德·巴爾扎尼和美國國家橄欖球聯盟領導人羅傑‧古德爾。

印度總理莫迪先前以近500萬的票數當選讀者票選年度人物。但與讀者票選不同，年度人物候選人由時代雜誌的編輯部提名和決定，最終的「時代年度人物」也由該雜誌編輯部決定。
