SATA3的SSD如果插在PCI-E擴充板的SATA3插槽該有的效能可以發揮嗎

請問我現在使用SATA3的SSD接在SATA2的主機板，讀取只有約250MB，但看別人的開箱這SSD讀取能到約500MB，如果我去買一個PCI-E的STAT3擴充板插在原本不支援SATA3的板子能跑到該有的速度嗎？
（使用創見的SSD 340，128GB這顆，配ASUS P6T）
