舊金山附近發生芮氏6.0淺層地震

美國地質調查所24日宣布，美國加州北峽谷（距離舊金山僅約65公里）當地時間24日凌晨3:20（台灣時間24日晚間6：20）發生芮民規模6.0、距地表僅10.8公里的淺層強震，目前尚無傷亡及嚴重損害的報導。

舊金山及戴維斯市的居民，都感受到地震造成的震撼。
