Smartwatch推出多時，至今仍未流行，最大原因是大部分功能都要連接手機先用到。 Samsung最新推出的曲芒 Gear S，似乎想打破僵局，可以插入 SIM卡，獨立上網、打電話及內置 GPS定位技術，實用性更高。

先講錶身設計，今次明顯輕身好多，而且兩吋大曲芒設計，閱讀性的確比其他 smartwatch強。內置心率感應器及 AGPS，非常適合運動人士使用，想記錄跑步或運動路線，就毋須再袋埋手機出街。手錶可以連接藍牙耳機作通話及聽歌用途（內置 4GB容量），亦可以收發短訊，都幾方便。
