紐約哈萊姆區的爵士樂界引發一陣混亂,一個薩克斯風演奏家的兒子遭人謀殺

許多人相繼爭奪經典爵士歌曲-6 A.M.-的版權,一但握有這首暢銷曲版權後

將可過上衣食無缺的日子。當Henry和Jo展開調查後,他們意識到,

爵士樂界的歷史可能被改寫。在回憶情節裡,Henry,Jo和Pepper均回憶起自己與父親的

童年時光。Henry是古典音樂的愛好者而Abe從年輕時代開始就是個爵士迷,

兩人在新舊交替的世代中,分別堅持自己的喜好,但Henry無法接受,

兩人隨即爆發一場”捍衛戰”。
