下坡煞車過熱失靈需要更換來令片或碟盤嗎？？

上禮拜開colt plus上華山走走，因開錯路多繞了一圈，
因為開到更山上所以有一段路都是下坡，當下也沒注意到應該排入低速檔，
就發生煞車過熱失靈了，踏板踩到底，只傳來來令片跟碟盤磨擦的聲音，車子還是不停下滑，
車上三大兩小都嚇到了，還好快到目的地，一路降低檔拉手煞車。
休息兩個多小時降溫後又恢復了

不過想請教一下，煞車過熱失靈，需要更換來令片，或碟盤嗎？
