北京常住人口達2114萬人

北京市統計局統計，到2013年底，北京市常住人口達2114.8萬人。其中設籍北京者有1312.1萬人，占常住人口約62%；外來人口達802.7萬人，占38%。

新華社報導，這一數字來自北京市統計局2013年度的人口抽樣調查數據顯示。

這項統計顯示，與2012年相較，北京市常住人口增加45.5萬人，成長2.2%。其中，設籍北京者增加16.6萬人，成長1.3%；外來人口增加28.9萬人，成長3.7%。

從各功能區域來，北京市介於市中心與遠郊之間的「城市功能拓展區」常住人口最多，達1032.2萬人，占總人口的48.8 %；其次是「城市發展新區」的671.5萬人，占31.7%。

至於市中心的「首都功能核心區」，常住人口有221.2萬人，占10.5%；位在遠郊的「生態涵養發展區」則只有189.9萬人，占9%。

在北京市各區、縣中，朝陽區常住人口最多，達384.1萬人；其次是海淀區的357.6萬人；門頭溝區最少，只有30.3萬人。

換算為密度，位在北京市中心的西城區及東城區密度最高，分別達每平方公里2萬5787人及2萬1715人。
