反服貿浪潮暫歇，但抗爭過程中一句「想進去就Over My Dead Body！」的梗讓人印象深刻。這個片語直譯成中文是「跨過我的屍體」，更白話的翻譯就是「等我死了再說」，擺明堅決反對，甚至寧死不從。同樣表達「強烈拒絶」之意的英文口語，還有：

1、In your dreams（做你的夢吧）
延伸解釋就是：別傻了，這件事絶無可能。
例：Jeff asked to put off the project a second time. I just said, “In your dreams!”（傑夫再度要求延後專案，我只說：「做你的夢吧！」）

2、Fat chance（休想）
大家都知道，fat的意思是胖，但fat chance卻是「很有機會」的反意，指的是「機會微乎其微、休想」。
例：You think you will win the deal by pulling a few strings? Fat chance!（你以為走後門就能贏得這樁交易嗎？休想！）

3、Not in a million years（這輩子別想）
光看字面意義就知道，一百萬年都不會發生，那當然就是有生之年都不可能的意思。
這類把Not直接放句首的否定片語尚包括：not a chance（門都沒有）、not in your life time（你這一生都不可能）
例1：Not in a million years will I allow the mistake to happen again!（這輩子別想我再同意第二次犯錯。）
例2：Not in your life time will you come back to work here.（你這輩子別想回來這裡工作。）
例3：Don’t even think I’m going to take a dive. Not a chance!（別奢望我會放水。門都沒有！）
