什麼是TMC
RDS-TMC（Radio Data System-Traffic Message Channel）是一種利用FM廣播87.5Mhz~108.0MHz頻率的特殊應用，透過公眾的廣播系統傳送符合RDS規範的TMC即時路況資訊。

關於台灣地區TMC
台灣地區的「RDS-TMC副載波即時交通路況廣播服務」，是由「交通部運輸研究所」主導，並將匯整的TMC路況資訊委託「警察廣播電台」負責全台播送。
