請問如何將北斗星寢臺特快SOLO房改成雙人房？

求助於各位大大>

因為臨時馬麻要跟著一起列車之旅所以拜託我把已經在JR北海道訂了的上野~函館（B寢SOLO 單人房）跟函館~上野（B寢四人房）的票更改為B寢臺的雙人房或者四人房。

請問要如何通過E-mail跟JR北海道更改以及補足費用呢~?
還是説要通過電話更改預約？
或者到達東京站的JR北海道窗口劃位的時候再跟接待員更改？重新劃到4人或者雙人？

第一次乘寢臺列車到函館希望各位大大指教>////<
