關於現行各家網路吃到飽日租問題

由於工作性質,每年只有幾段幾天時間在台灣,
想請教現行各家網路吃到飽的日租開通費率問題
以我現行的遠傳來說
之前可以以日計價
比如說900吃到飽,用幾天算幾天
但今年不知從何時開始
說變成以月計價
比如說
帳單截止日是每月10號
我若
1.1號開通用5天,算到當天10號 (900*10/30),從當月1號算到帳當截止日10號,收10天錢

2.若11號開通用5天,則是算到隔月10號
用5天得被算1個月錢

小弟是覺得很不合理
請問
1.遠傳這樣真的合法嗎??
2.其他各家也是這樣??

若其他家不會這樣
我想要跳別家了......
