XO醬，是香港人於 80年代始創，現已非常普遍，風行海外，是香港人引以為傲的醬料。究竟誰是始創者，有說是半島嘉麟樓中菜館，亦有聽說是利苑酒家。

 

XO醬材料豐富、名貴，取名 XO，就是表達此醬是極品。現時有售的 XO醬很多，味道、材料沒一定限制，唯一共通點是多油、帶辣。
