谷歌日本公司於2014年3月4日宣布，將從3月4日起強化發生災害時提供確認親友是否平安的服務「Google Person Finder」。此次實現了該服務與NTT Resonant提供的相同性質人員安危確認服務「J-anpi」的聯動，用戶可從2個服務的資訊中搜索，確認親友是否平安。

另外，「Google Person Finder」此次新增了通過手機簡訊搜索安危資訊的功能，並且，為了擴大該服務在全球的使用範圍，還支援79個國家的語言。

NTT東西地區公司、NTT DoCoMo、KDDI、軟銀移動等主要通信系統業者以及NHK、東京都政府等10多家企業和公共團體達成了協議，把人員安危資訊和災害留言板資訊匯總到J-anpi。

此次實現聯動後，通過谷歌的Person Finder，用戶可同時在該網站註冊的資訊和J-anpi管理的人員安危資訊中進行搜索。同樣，從J-anpi也可以搜索到Person Finder的人員安危資訊。
