台星簽協定 星貿工部長歡迎

台灣與新加坡今天簽署台星經濟夥伴協定（ASTEP），新加坡貿工部發布新聞稿表示，部長林勛強歡迎雙方簽署ASTEP。

歷時3年，台灣今天上午以「台澎金馬個別關稅領域」名義與新加坡簽署台星經濟夥伴協定，由駐新加坡代表謝發達與新加坡駐台代表于文豪簽字，雙方關係更上一層樓。

新加坡貿工部發布新聞稿表示，林勛強歡迎ASTEP的簽署，ASTEP是一個高品質且內容廣泛的協定，可以促進新加坡與中華台北這兩個世界貿易組織會員國之間的經濟關係。

新聞稿中提到，雙方的公司都已經積極尋求合作機會，ASTEP可以促進和加深雙方的貿易和投資量。

新聞稿指出，2012年中華台北是新加坡第八大貿易夥伴，雙方的貿易額在2012年成長8.7%，達到497億新元（約新台幣1兆1928億元）。

對想要在這個區域抓住成長機會的台灣公司而言，新加坡不僅是區域總部，也是東南亞的重要樞紐。2011年，新加坡公司投資中華台北共59億新元。
