竊聽案 英檢方提鎖定少女證據

英國「世界新聞報」竊聽案審判今天舉行聽審，調查世界新聞報如何竊聽英國失蹤少女道勒的手機語音訊息。本案導致媒體大亨梅鐸經營的世界新聞報走入歷史。

檢察官表示，世界新聞報（News of the World）2002年對13歲少女道勒（Milly Dowler）報導的第1和第2套版本不同，移除了引用道勒語音訊息的部分。道勒後來被發現遭謀殺。

據法院聽審，時任總編輯的梅鐸（Rupert Murdoch）愛將布魯克斯（Rebekah Brooks）當時正在度假，但仍和副總編柯爾遜（Andy Coulson）就報導版本進行聯繫。

布魯克斯和柯爾遜都否認世界新聞報竊聽指控。民眾得知道勒的手機成為鎖定目標後大為反感，導致梅鐸於2011年7月關閉世界新聞報。

布魯克斯於2011年7月被捕，當局稍後以共謀非法竊聽行動電話語音信箱、授權賄賂官員和阻撓警方調查、妨礙司法程序等罪名起訴她。布魯克斯否認這些指控。
