買冷氣付款問題請教

請問版上有經驗的大大或是在電器行/空調工程上班的大大

因為2月-4月多是冷氣的促銷活動期間有折價,送贈品的活動
如電視上已可看到日立送贈品的活動

可偏偏小弟的預售屋卻在5-6月才能交屋(目前主體結構已完成,準備貼地磚)
而且5-6月是這些電家旺季的開始,安裝可能要排隊很久

想請問如果在這段時間先跟商家談妥型號價格,確定購買
那款項的部份是小弟應該要一次付清,還是可以預留幾成的保留款
等實際裝機時再付
有無業界的行規還是通常都是如何做?
