針對先前公布iPhone 5電源按鍵故障可更換，卻必須等待維修零件現象，蘋果表示將配合台灣消基會要求調整召修辦法，讓授權通路可預先備存更換備品，提供消費者送修時即可立即更換。

蘋果針對日前公布iPhone 5電源按鍵故障可更換，卻必須等待更換備品現象作說明，表示目前已經配合台灣消基會要求，於7月底調整產品召修辦法，讓蘋果授權通路可預先備存更換備品，當消費者送修時即可立即更換。

對於iPhone 5電源按鍵故障，造成無法正常喚醒或關閉手機問題，蘋果於今年4月間確認提供召修服務，免費提供持有2013年3月前生產製作iPhone 5使用者免費申請更換，不過因為授權通路並未備存更換零件，使用者必須在申請後等待通知，而在等待期間無法使用手機。
