民進黨前主席蔡英文與行政院前院長謝長廷上午均表達對多元成家方案的支持態度。

謝長廷說，不同性別的愛，也是愛，應站在人權的立場予以尊重，人人都有選擇的自由；蔡英文則強調，這是一個基本人權的問題，社會還有很多爭議，應努力來溝通，也需要整體社會的祝福，讓多元成家方案可以被社會接受。
