這個問題實在是困擾我很久了 上網找的資訊有點零散而且不齊全 我決定來問問廣大的鄉民 --------------------------- 我媽十幾年前是外商的員工，那時有員工認股計畫 退休之後公司把他們投資的股票帳戶轉到美國別家的卷商 叫做Computershare 還在公司的時候因為有員工身分，所以我媽也完全不管退稅的問題 退休後他也忘記這件事情，只知道卷商定期會寄來配息的明細 但是都要繳30%的稅 我想問的是 非美籍人士是可以退稅的 如果要退稅的話要怎麼做? 之前還在公司的時候我媽都有寫W8-BEN 表格，由公司的人幫他們寫 現在還是只要寫W8-BEN的表格就好了嗎? 我有查到需要跟美國國稅局(IRS)申請退稅 可是非常的麻煩，需要填寫W-7表格以及1040-NR表格 之前是只要填寫W8-BEN表格就好了 到底這兩種方法是差在哪裡? 那我需要怎麼做? 希望這裡有人能知道我的問題@@ ~ 謝謝 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 111.249.82.175 ※ seda:轉錄至看板 Foreign_Inv 10/13 02:56
