王文傑：只看台灣 雄獅不需上市

雄獅即將成為繼鳳凰之後第2家上市旅行社。近3年來，為了上市親自帶領團隊「戰鬥」的董事長王文傑表示，若眼光只放在台灣，雄獅不需上市。

回顧28年來雄獅的歷程與旅遊產業的發展，王文傑指出，隨著台灣經濟發展、兩岸開放、大陸改革，旅遊業大型化已是既定趨勢，也出現相當好的機會與市場。

為了與國際上超大型的旅遊業競爭，甚至大陸的旅遊業者都已經到美國掛牌，王文傑說，雄獅需要更強勁的資金後盾與人才資源，這正是雄獅選擇上市的主要原因。

他看到的是旅遊產業將成為台灣的顯學，為了逐鹿中原、進軍國際，更長期的目標，3年多前他再度「回來拚」、親自帶領團隊奮鬥。

王文傑透露，認識他的人都知道，在更早之前他每個暑假都度假長達 2個月，但回來後他天天從早上8點戰鬥到晚上9點。

王文傑說，要不是預見長期的發展，若只是想固守在台灣，雄獅不需要上市，只要穩穩的做就好，也不用面對那麼多投資人，但旅遊產業將成為20年前的台積電、鴻海，雄獅要當產業的領頭者。
