感染科醫師：愛滋病已像慢性病

台灣露德協會針對全台1077位民眾調查發現，超過一成民眾認為愛滋病是絕症；儘管雞尾酒療法已問世17年，還有民眾不知現在已有藥物可抑制愛滋病毒。

台大醫院感染科主治醫師謝思民表示，感染者接受雞尾酒療法後的半年內，不但血中病毒量可降至偵測不到的地步，還能增加患者的抵抗力。他說，事實上愛滋病已經變成像慢性病一樣。
