請教2011年中21.5吋iMac記憶體升級問題

請教各為先進，我的 iMac 是 21.5吋 2011年中版。

Apple 官網標示記憶體容量上限 16 GB (4GBx4)。

但 Mobile01 板上似乎有搜尋到一篇插 32 GB (8GBx4) 成功的案例。
國外網站似乎也有很多成功的案例，所以目前打算直衝 32 GB 讓剪輯影片的時候能順暢一點。

目前比較不清楚的是，市售記憶體有些標示 Mac 專用，
與一般 Windows 筆電使用的記憶體有何不同？

因為有標示 Mac 專用的記憶體，價格幾乎是普通記憶體的兩倍。
現在不知道到底應買普通筆電記憶體還是 Mac 專用記憶體。

如果我買威剛 DDR3 1333(9) 8GX16 SO-DIMM 204pin
這種一支才一千出頭的筆電記憶體來使用。

會造成 iMac 無法開機嗎？
或是根本插不進去？
還是會有什麼不良後果呢？
